Pat Hampson has 28 years emergency service experience as a volunteer, ten years as a career F/F with WVFD, as Chief of Squamish Fire Rescue for seventeen years, and Deputy Director of the Squamish Emergency Program. His varied experience enables him to understand the dynamics of a composite department and emergency planning.
Pat served two years as Chair of the FCABC Education Committee and has close ties with many departments in BC. He served on the OFC Juvenile Fire Setter Task Group and was a member of the GVRDFCA. Pat Chaired the BCFS Coastal Inter-agency Interface Committee and is an on-call Liaison Officer for the Coastal Fire center. In his second term as Councillor and Chair of the Protective Services Committee for the Town of Oliver, Pat has been able to user his diverse skill sets as a consultant in emergency services.
